Before Manohar Parrikar death news what happen in Goa Politics

Panaji : Chief Minister of Goa and former Defense Minister Manohar Parrikar has passed away at 63-year on Sunday late evening. He was suffering from severe cancer since long time. After coming Manohar Parrikar death news, the whole country has shocked suddenly.

President of India Ramnath Kovind tweeted and paid tribute to Parrikar. Mr. Kovind saying that his contributions to Goa and the country can not be forgotten. A central cabinet meeting has been convened to pay homage to him at 11 a.m. on Monday.

Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar death news could be hurt the BJP lead government in the state. Where on, top state BJP leaders are looking for the favorable decision from it’s high command. On the other hand, Goa Congress also do not want to miss stand once again and claim for their government in state.

Earlier, in view of deteriorating health of Manohar Parrikar, Bharatiya Janata Party leaders from the state had asked the party to take some decisions regarding the state. BJP MLA Dayanand Mandrekar has requested the party leadership to decide on the new leader of the BJP in Goa.

Before it Goa Congress also wrote to the Governor demanding an opportunity to make government on Saturday. Congress has urged Goa Governor Mridula Sinha to sack the Manohar Parrikar-led coalition government.

The Congress said that after the demise of the MPs of Mapusa Francis D’Souza, the BJP-led alliance government in the state has come in a minority.

Goa Congress leads said that at present the Congress has 14 MLAs, while BJP has 13 MLAs. However, the BJP has the support of nine MLAs, including three independents.

About the Manohar Parrikar

As far as talk about Mr. Parrikar, he has been served three times Chief Minister of Goa. Mr. Parrikar was the leader who first proposed Narendra Modi name as Prime Ministerial candidate before 2013 parliament election in Goa. After that, he served as the strong former Defense Minister of India under Narendra Modi government. In the last moment he twitted tribute to Goa first Chief Minister Dayanand Bandodkar (Bhausaheb) on his birth anniversary.
